AT&T is, of course, the only choice for a service provider to Apple’s iPhone, and they’ve taken quite a hit with the release of the iPhone 3GS by being slow to support features taken for granted on other mobile networks.
The contempt is palpable.
I remember election night 4 years ago. Debby and I had just begun dating. We stayed up late and watched the election results in disbelief. I was on my laptop, franticly refreshing various news sites and hoping the to-close-to-call states would result some sort of recount, ala 2000. It was a sad night, one I will always remember.
This night in contrast is of a much different tone. It’s exciting and joyous, but cautiously so. I won’t be showboating or tweeting to my Republican friends. Instead, I’m going to sit back and quietly celebrate this moment, as well as the next 4 (hopefully 8) years.
Let’s restore this country to its proper lustrous shine, Mr. Obama. It is time for change, indeed.
